From the vibrant local pub scene to the wonderful world of the West End, you’re never at a loss to find things to see, do and eat in London.

You’ll want to make the most of your visa or holiday time soaking up the sights, sounds and smells (some, at least) around you. Honestly, I was so determined to fit in as much as possible in my two years that I was on the go most days of the week around my 9 to 5. We’re not even including travelling around the UK itself and the easy jump across the Channel to Europe…and even the east coast of the USA!

Anything under a 3 hour flight to arrive in another country for me was a piece of cake. Fellow Australians, we all know the struggle of those long haul flights – and that’s just to get to the other side of the country! I joke, I joke…(kind of).
