The idea for this blog has been rolling around in my mind for over two years. Yep, two years. Better late than never, I suppose!
As I was about to embark on one of the biggest adventures of my life, I quietly bookmarked the Novel Wanderings handle on Instagram. Apart from a few small (and mostly food-related updates), it has remained largely dormant as I figured out the direction that I wanted to take with it.
I want this space to be an ode to all things travel, food, history, literary, and cultural – sometimes separately and sometimes all at once!
It’s essentially me in a nutshell.
For the last few years, I have largely regaled my friends and family with updates on my adventures and now, hopefully, to you as well. I’ve lived the expat life, have navigated the logistics of setting up a life on the other side of the world, and have also experienced half of this during a global pandemic! There’s wealth of tips, tricks and recommendations up my sleeve that you can add on to your adventures as well.
This blog will be a mixture of nostalgic trips down memory lane, as well as new discoveries that will help in your own travels.
